WATERLOO, IA— The Cedar Valley United Way Board of Directors elected new officers at its annual meeting. Officers for 2013 are Vicki Grimes, community leader, chairman of the board; Sharon Juon, Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments, vice-chair; Steve Abbott, CenturyLink, Communication Workers of America, secretary; and Kane Fairman, UPS, past chair.
Board members elected to new terms include: Cynthia Bottrell, Hawkeye Community College, representing the Community Impact Team for Education; Dawn Duven, community leader; Wayne Frost, community leader, representing the Community Impact Team for Income; Chris Hyers, Wheaton Franciscan Health System, representing the Community Impact Team for Health; Mark Little, Metropolitan Transit Authority, and Rose Middleton, community leader.
