United Way seeking major gifts program proposals

WATERLOO, IA –Cedar Valley United Way is accepting proposals to develop and implement an expanded major and planned giving donor program. This expansion will support the strategic plan directives including:

  • Growing resources to meet the needs of the community
  • Targeting resources toward programs and initiatives that have the highest sustainable positive impact in the Cedar Valley

 This contract will:

  • Include developing a plan for expanded major and planned giving program
  • Include identifying prospects through market research  
  • Have expectations of donor solicitations
  • Have expectations of achieving increased funds to annual fund
  • Have expectations of achieving an increase in closed planned gifts

All research will be property of Cedar Valley United Way. The vendor chosen will have technical expertise in tax and legal aspects of charitable giving. The contract term will be one year with the option to renew or terminate as needed. Proposals including cost will be accepted through January 20 and should be submitted via email to Sheila.Baird@cvuw.org.
