WATERLOO, IA – Barnes & Noble has partnered with Cedar Valley United Way for their annual holiday book drive. United Way has already picked up over 500 books from the store. All books donated stay in our community to be put in the hands of those most in need. Cedar Valley children involved in preschool, home visitation, family literacy, and child care programs provided by United Way partner agencies will receive the books. WATERLOO, IA – Cedar Valley United Way encouraged the community to take part in LIVE UNITED shirts on Friday, November 3. The campaign theme this year is “Cedar Valley Strong”. To show unity in the Cedar Valley, all residents were asked to dress alike wearing their LIVE UNITED t-shirts. A social media blast was done in conjunction with the special day. WATERLOO, IA – Cedar Valley United Way announced $1,935,075 in investments in the Cedar Valley for the 2017-18 funding year. The funding was made possible by gifts to Cedar Valley United Way’s 2016 campaign. WATERLOO, IA—Cedar Valley United Way hosted its tenth annual United Way Golf Classic on Friday, June 16, at the South Hills Golf Course in Waterloo.
